The AMMA Foundation
The AMMA Foundation is a community-driven initiative focused on education, land stewardship, and spiritual study that respects all traditions. At its core, the Foundation exists to support a return to stability—both individually and collectively—through increased mental awareness, cultural responsibility, and meaningful action.
We operate in a moment of pause—a kind of cultural caesura—where contradiction is not avoided, but engaged as a condition for change. The Foundation embraces this tension as a necessary step toward deeper reconnection: with land, with history, and with one another.
Our work is grounded in two primary efforts.
The first is land restitution.
The AMMA Foundation seeks to identify privately owned land containing Indigenous burial sites and return it to the descendants of those buried there. These are not symbolic gestures—they are material acts of resuscitation for restitution. The term rematriation describes the process of "returning to the sacred Mother" (see AMMA in Terms). Our approach is practical: we work directly with current landowners who are willing to transfer ownership, and we raise funds to offset their financial loss in doing so.
Our first site has already been identified. The property includes two burial mounds and may contain additional prehistoric artifacts due to its unique geographical features. Initial verification is scheduled for late 2026, after which we intend to move forward with acquisition and transfer. The landowners have expressed a willingness to participate; our role is to make that transition possible.
The second effort is access to knowledge.
The Foundation is committed to making The Book of AMMA freely available to the public. As a work of uncertain origin and significant cultural weight, we believe it should not be restricted by cost or exclusivity. AMMA iter(}{) will be released to the public on the 2026 Summer solstice.
Both efforts—land return and open access to the text—reflect a shared principle: what has been obscured, displaced, or withheld should be restored.
The AMMA Foundation is in the process of establishing formal 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Contributions will directly fund land acquisition and resuscitation for restitution, as well as support the continued translations of AMMA.
